Chemistry behind fireworks

No words can explain the beauty of fireworks.I always found it enchanting.
Fireworks are used for entertainment processes at special occasions .A very few of us know the chemistry behind fireworks .
Fireworks take place when we burn specific elements with fire(incandescence)
OR
light (luminescence)
When we burn elements in air firework of different colors occur.Different elements give different color on burning and as a result a beautiful firework results .Firework can also be used for aesthetic processes.

•Yellow: Sodium
•Gold: Iron
