Fear of Failure And to Learn

“We all have visions of what we wish in life but very few of us ever get chance to fulfill them.”

Failure is something which every one of us have experienced once in life. If we once fail in life than the fear of failure remains with us like a shadow. After that we never want and hesitate to take risks in life. While life is all about risks.

“If you want it, go for it. Take a risk. Don’t always play it safe or you’ll die wondering.”

Failure tied our foot and push us backwards therefore we resist moving forward and then we allow fears to change us. It not only changes us, it changes our way of thinking, our fate and in all this we miss big opportunities in life. I personally experienced many failures and often fear of it before doing something big. Somehow, I manage to overcome all those fears which come in the way of my success. One of my friends said;

“As a student I have to face many challenges, and at every challenge I fear about the failure and the circumstances I have to face afterwards. I fear that if I fail, it will affect my career or future. But by motivating my own self I overcome this fear and gather courage to go for any chance.

Fear of anything is in human nature, some of us lose all hopes as a failure and their ego and identity become so wrapped up in what they are doing. When things do no go well as we expected we can literally feel like we are going to die.  We can convert our failure into a tool of advantage, we can use it as a positive aspect. we all are familiar by these three words “Try Try Again”, I believe in try try again but with some modifications.
First, it is a famous line that “we learn from our failures”. Shift your goals and re_frame them. Expand your goals, and include some space to add new learning after experience. Learn these new things and go for it again. you will never technically “fail” because there is always something to be learned.

“I truly believe that everything that we do and everyone that we meet is put in our path for a purpose. There are no accidents; we’re all teachers – if we’re willing to pay attention to the lessons we learn, trust our positive instincts and not be afraid to take risks or wait for some miracle to come knocking at our door.”

Second, think of a situation in which you are afraid of failure.  Visualize yourself now hitting an obstacle, allow yourself to feel the fear, and then see yourself moving forward.  Next, spend a few minutes planning how to overcome whatever obstacles may stand in your way. Then see yourself succeeding despite these obstacles.
Third, when you take failure very personally, you are always associating the failure with a bigger story about ourselves. We are taking the failure to mean I am not good enough, I will never be successful and went negative. Try to uncover this bigger story with your confidence. Once you uncover it you will feel it is just a story. After this try to rewrite it with more positive aspects that you are able enough and you can surely be successful.
Failure can also teach us things about ourselves that we would never have learned otherwise. For instance, failure can help you discover how strong a person you are. Failing at something can help you discover your truest friends, or help you find unexpected motivation to succeed.
Never afraid of failures, be fearless in taking chances and move forwards in life,change th way of thinking. Think failure as a cane to step up the stair as Daniel Chidia mentions in his book “Who says you can…? You do”

“When you change the way you think, you change the way yofeel. When you change the way you feel, you change the way you act. When you change the way you act, you change your life. It starts changing the way you…? ”
